Oral Care Brushing Safety Tip for Children ages 0-3
It is highly recommended to always supervise your child especially under the age of three when brushing their teeth. When unsupervised some children between the ages of 18months to 3 years old tend to bite strongly on the bristles potentially compromising the integrity of the bristles.
If your child is biting on the bristles we would recommend using silicon or rubber toothbrushes for this stage. Never let your infant or small child walk around with a toothbrush in their mouth. Always make sure your child is stationary and assisted by an adult.
